"Reading Post-Postmodernist Fictions of the Digital" project: reading group study.

Summary

These datasets were collected as part of the "Reading Post-Postmodernist Fictions of the Digital" project. They comprise reading groups discussions in which readers discussed one of the following texts: - A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan (2011), - Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple (2012), - Conversations with Friends By Sally Rooney (2017), - Open Water by Caleb Azumah Nelson (2021), - Night Film by Marisha Pessl (2013). The transcripts have been anonymized via the use of pseudonyms which the participants were given the option to choose. Any potentially identifying/sensitive data has been redacted. File titles encode the novels discussed as follows: GS = A Visit from the Goon Squad; WB = Where'd You Go, Bernadette; CW = Conversations with Friends; OW = Open Water; NF = Night Film
